As a one-source solution provider, CRC compliments our plating services with our very own internal machine shop allowing us to grind to tight tolerances with quick turnaround times. Our Inside Diameter (ID) and Outside Diameter (OD) grinding capabilities perfectly exemplify this, along with our centerless and surface grinding equipment.
Grinding Properties
Utilizing manual grinding equipment enables us to address each part differently based on its available stock or plating thickness. Our wheel inventory permits us to grind a variety of traditional and exotic materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass bronze, copper, carbide, Inconel, Hastelloy, and many others. We ID/OD grind parts up to 8″ in diameter, up to 18″ in length, with surface finishes of 8 µin and to the tightest tolerances of ±.0001″.
